WHAT ARE THE JUDGES LOOKING FOR?
- Achieved a well-rounded balance of high achievements in a variety of categories (e.g. sports, arts, music, academic, public speaking, debating, etc.)
- Involvement in the community
- Participated in activities with the perception of youth in mind, thereby presenting a positive image of youth to the community
- Possesses leadership qualities (i.e. academic, sporting, or community work)
- Involvement in extracurricular activities

- Outstanding achievement in the musical arena (this category is open to singers, instrumentalist, and is now also open to bands*)
- Involvement in the community
****If the Musical Achievement Award is won by a band or group, only one trophy and one prize will be awarded to the band or group as a whole. Members will not be awarded individual trophies and prizes.
